From coal to cogeneration
The objectives of the City's Agenda 21 program are ambitious in terms of energy efficiency, price reduction and environmental impacts.
- Reduce heating costs for customers by an average of 15%.
- Reduce emissions (for example, a 75% reduction in sulfur dioxide emissions).
- Improve air quality and better integrate the Mont de Terre plant into its surroundings.
Dalkia also wanted to take bold action in response to demands for consultation and information by the residents and their representatives (officials and nonprofit organizations).
