Modernize, upgrade and expand a network under competitive market conditions
- In August 2004, Dalkia won the prize for best energy project of the year, awarded by the Estonian Power and Heat Association, for its work in upgrading and modernizing equipment. It also obtained ISO 9001 certification.
- Dalkia implemented a major communication campaign aimed at customers, which involved designating dedicated staff to provide information, setting up a new billing system (possibility of monitoring and payment of invoices over the Internet) and organizing special information days for each customer segment (residential, schools, government administrations, etc.) with presentations of the new services.
- Dalkia entered into agreements with the Tallinn Technical University to train future engineers and sales people, which included six- to eight-month placements in Dalkia entities and open days at the different sites for university students and professors.
